Performance
All three of the engines for the BMW X5 are improved for the 2024 model year. The turbo inline-six, 3.0-liter engine puts out 375 horsepower. This system also has mild-hybrid tech for the first time to bolster fuel economy. The turbo V8 engine also has mild-hybrid tech and steps its output up to 523 horsepower. A V6 PHEV system is available for the X5 as well, and it produces 483 total horsepower. In comparison, the 2024 BMW iX has two electric motor configurations. Both have all-wheel drive, and they produce 516 horsepower and 610 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2024 X5 makes a grand impression with its chrome-adorned, segmented grille and elegant, athletic headlights. The lower-front fascia has a metallic border, and this is flanked by thin, tall air vents. In addition, the beautiful definition on the hood and sides combine with a side air vent and rounded fenders to complete the look. The 2024 iX has an edgier look with large, triangular air vents and a drop-down grille on the nose. The headlights have a commanding effect with their two-part, LED accent bar. From the side view, you will discover a boldly tapered roof and elite accentuation over the doors and fenders.
Features
In the 2024 X5, you will find a newly-introduced, single-pane glass display for both the 14.9-inch infotainment system screen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument screen. There are touch controls for the gear selection and iDrive controller. In addition, the X5 is equipped with Sensafin upholstery, an upgraded operating system, a navigation system with revamped augmented reality, and more. The iX also has these features, and it adds an interior camera, additional upholstery options, and heated door panels.
