Serving Fairfax, VA

For Fairfax-area drivers who hold the highest standards for performance and luxury behind the wheel, the BMW 7 Series is the perfect option. This midsize sedan introduces exciting improvements in 2023 with the debut of its seventh generation. With updates to its interior, exterior, and performance capabilities, a detailed look at this premium sedan with support from our BMW of Fairfax team is in order.

Performance

The 2022 7 Series has four powertrain options. These include a 335-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter, V6 engine, and a plug-in hybrid version of that engine that produces 389 total horsepower. The other gas powertrains are a 523-horsepower, turbo V8 and a 601-horsepower, turbo V12. For 2023, the two gas engines are a 536-horsepower, V8 system and a 375-horsepower, mild-hybrid, 3.0-liter turbo, I-6. At the end of 2023, a plug-in hybrid engine will also be offered.

Appearance

Brilliant updates have been made to the style of the 7 Series sedan between 2022 and 2023. The 2022 BMW 7 Series has a prestigious, flowing look with elegant contouring and curves. The grille stands talle, and it is accompanied by commanding air vents and innovative headlights with a pair of U-shaped LED ribbons. For 2023, the BMW 7 Series has an edgier look with a crisp crease running horizontally across the nose and sharp corners lining the hood's sides. The nose crease creates a bend in the grille, making the 7 Series stand out. The LED headlights are more slender and have a piercing quality. The lower-front air vents are enlarged to complete the look.

Features

There are updates inside the cabin of the 7 Series as well. For 2023, the 7 Series has upgraded materials and finishes, a backlit dashboard, and illuminated speakers. The infotainment system and navigation system have both been upgraded as well. Many of the elite features offered in the 2022 7 Series continue to be available in the 2023 model year. These include a digital instrumentation panel, a panoramic and power-sliding sunroof, a four-zone automatic climate management system, parking sensors, a surround-view camera, front collision mitigation, premium leather seats with heat and massaging functions for both rows, and adaptive cruise control.
