The 2019 BMW X3 comes standard with a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder that puts out up to 238 horsepower. There is also the optional 3.0-liter BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that puts out up to 335 horsepower. 0 to 60 performance time on the 6-cylinder engine is rated at 4.6 seconds. The 2019 BMW X5 comes standard with a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that offers up 335 horsepower. There is also the optional 4.4-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V-8, 32-valve engine that offers up to 456 horsepower. 0 to 60 performance time on the V-8 engine is rated at 4.6 seconds. Overall, the BMW X5 comes standard with a more powerful engine. However, both the X3 and the X5 have similar performance times on their optional powertrains.

Appearance

The 2019 BMW X3 is a compact SAV that features the brand's kidney grille at the front with daytime running lights at its sides. At the rear of the X3, visibility is excellent due to a large rear glass. Inside the X3, there is room for up to five adults with soft-touch materials on the doors, center armrest, and the dashboard. The BMW X5 is a mid-sized SAV that is highlighted by the brand's kidney grille at the front. The sides of the X5 are highlighted by body-color door handles and power side mirrors. Inside the X5, there is room for up to five adults and luxury appointments throughout the cabin. Overall, both the X3 and the X5 features a similar exterior and interior appearance. However, the X5 is larger while the X3 is more compact.

Features
