The luxurious BMW 3 Series is a compact sedan that has been impressing drivers with its luxurious features and solid engineering for several decades. Its brilliant evolution continues in 2025 with its performance, technologies, and style updates. In 2025, this sports sedan will be a mid-generation version and will continue to be available in the 330i and M340i trim levels. The 330e plug-in hybrid trim is eliminated.
When you slide behind the redesigned steering wheel in the 2025 BMW 3 Series, you can appreciate the enhanced smoothness and handling of the updated suspension system. In addition, the new Comfort driving mode improves steering. The two available powertrains also have slightly more power. The 330i is available with a turbo four-cylinder engine that pairs with an eight-speed auto transmission. This is a 255-horsepower unit with standard rear-wheel drive. With the 330i xDrive, all-wheel drive is included. The M340i is also available with and without xDrive. It comes with a 386-horsepower, turbo six-cylinder engine. The M340i also has a sports differential, sports brakes, and a sports suspension system.
The 2025 BMW 3 Series is closely styled to the 2024 version, but there are a few updates. These include a modernized wheel design and a couple of new paint colors. The athleticism and prestige of the 3 Series is displayed through its strongly defined sides and swooping profile. At the front, the sizable lower fascia pairs with deep, angled air inlets. Above these features, a wide, kidney-shaped grille links to bold headlights with double LED elements. The 330i has 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and heated and power-folding wipers. The M340i adds an aerodynamic kit, a rear spoiler, and sporty trim.
The 2025 3 Series inside the cabin has the new iDrive 8.5 infotainment system interface. The design has also been modestly modernized. The 12.3-inch digital driver's panel is incorporated in a curved display along with the 14.9-inch infotainment system screen. Additional standard features include forward collision mitigation, a three-zone auto climate control system, wireless Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a 10-speaker audio system, and a cloud-based navigation system.
