What's New for the 2024 BMW iX?
The 2024 BMW iX is a standout option for your upcoming all-electric crossover SUV purchase. This premium EV boasts a spacious, two-row cabin with brilliant differences between its two available trim levels. A few minor changes have been made to the 2024 iX. Compared to the previous model year, several minor features available with the xDrive50 trim have been deleted in 2024. In addition, the driver can now set the battery preconditioning function independently.
The bold, sophisticated look of the 2024 iX is unchanged. This crossover has a chiseled, geometric look from end to end, with sharp angles across the large air intake, the lower-front fascia, and the lower door panels. The iX is also decidedly modern, with sculpted haunches and slender, dual-elemental LED headlights. The base trim level has 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, and electro-chromatic tinting for the panoramic sunroof. The iX M60 adds adaptive laser headlights and 21-inch wheels.
The iX's engineering for the 2024 model year is unchanged. The base trim features a dual-motor system that produces 516 horsepower. Its battery range is 324 miles. The higher trim benefits from 610 horsepower produced by its two motors, and its range is 288 miles. The M60 trim is also engineered with upgraded brakes, four-wheel steering, and an adaptive air suspension system.
While some base features have been deleted in the 2024 model year, the iX has an extensive selection of pampering features. The base trim comes with a four-zone auto climate control system, synthetic leather upholstery, a 12-speaker audio system, heated front seats, a curved display that houses the infotainment system screen and the digital instrument panel, ambient cabin lighting, and others. Optional features include a drive recorder, a 360-degree camera, a Harman Kardon sound system with 18 speakers, a head-up display, a wireless hotspot, soft-close doors, adaptive cruise control, massaging front seats, an interior camera, and numerous additional options. The top trim level adds a Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, heated door panels, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and more.
