BMW's line of all-electric vehicles grows more impressive in 2024 with the debut of the i5 sedan. This luxury EV is closely designed after the popular 5 Series sedan, but it stands out with individuality in exciting areas. The all-new BMW i5 has a decadent yet contemporary look brought to life by a rolling, prominent profile and side accentuation that is both sharp and smooth. The i5's front end displays an edgy variation of BMW's kidney grille. This chrome-outlined grille sits above an upturned, black fascia. You will find triangular air vents with bold headlights on the flanks of these features.
Inside the 2024 BMW i5, the modern style is defined by a low-profile dashboard with lean, horizontal flow. An accent light runs horizontally through the dashboard underneath the floating display screen. This wide screen includes the infotainment system display and the digital driver's instruments.
The i5 is available in two trims: the eDrive40 and the M60. Both versions are outfitted with the same battery pack. The eDrive40 features a single electric motor with rear-wheel drive.
