What's New for the 2024 BMW 3 Series?
For several decades, the BMW 3 Series has been coveted among luxury-minded auto shoppers in the Fairfax area. This compact sports sedan benefited from an exterior refresh, enhancements to the Intelligent Personal Assistant, and a few new features in the cabin in the 2023 model year. With these extensive improvements made just last year, BMW has not introduced additional changes for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 BMW 3 Series is part of the model's seventh generation, launched in 2019. Its captivating exterior is both contemporary and athletic. It is styled with L-shaped air vents flanking a wide bumper with sharp angles at the sides. The short, black grille extends to reach the double-elemental LED headlights. The sides of the 2024 3 Series have a sweeping quality with smooth contouring and a crisp, angled definition line.
The three powertrains available for the 2024 3 Series are unchanged from last year. The base-level system is a 255-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder system with an eight-speed auto transmission and the option for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. A turbo four-cylinder, plug-in hybrid system is also available, delivering 382 combined horsepower. The 382-horsepower, mild-hybrid, turbo V6 system produces 382 horsepower. It comes with a sports differential, brakes, and suspension.
The dashboard is decidedly modern inside the cabin, with a curved housing for the 14.9-inch central display and the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Depending on which of the three 3 Series trim levels you select, your sedan may have a navigation system, leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, heated front seats, a lane departure warning, a head-up display, keyless entry, a 10-speaker audio system, connected services, wireless connectivity for the smart device apps, forward collision mitigation and several additional features.
