What's New for the 2023 BMW XM?

The 2023 XM is an all-new model in the BMW lineup, and it delivers the complete driving experience you expect from your next luxury crossover. It is the first independent M project that BMW has introduced since 1978. The XM pulls together the power of a supercar with the luxury and functionality of a BMW crossover.

Under the XM's hood, you will find a plug-in hybrid powertrain combined with an eight-speed auto transmission. This is a twin-turbo V8, a 4.4-liter gas engine connected to a battery-driven electric motor. The combination produces 644 combined horsepower. Additional mechanical features include:

On the exterior, the 2023 BMW XM displays strong linear elements through its flatly angled roof, squared-off wheel wells, and edgy bumpers. On the nose, the kidney-shaped grille has sharp corners and is surrounded by an illuminated bar. The slender headlights are sectioned for an added touch of personality. On the sides, the 2023 XM has a chrome, wraparound element that surrounds the windows and trends toward the front wheels. The wheels have a standout, geometric design that attracts the eye.

Inside, the BMW XM's cabin is exquisitely appointed with Merino leather, Nappa leather, Alcantara suede, and a two-tone color scheme. The digital driver's gauge screen and the central infotainment system screen are joined together in a flowing unit. The central display is supported by thick bars connected to the center console. Cabin features include an iDrive 8 infotainment system, a head-up display, an auto climate control system, a sunroof, heated seats, advanced safety tech, and more.
