Specifically, the 2022 BMW M5 CS has less sound insulation and more carbon-fiber parts than the M5 Competition has. This has shaved 230 pounds off of the weight and increased horsepower output by 10. The 627-horsepower, turbo V8, the 4.4-liter engine, has a top speed that approaches 190 miles per hour. A comfortable speed of 60 miles per hour is achieved in 2.9 seconds.
The racing feel of the 2022 BMW M5 CS sedan is supported throughout its souped-up cabin. Racing-style bucket seats are in the front and back rows, punctuated by red accent stitching.
