If you are ever in an accident you need to do this one thing, and few others. You must call the police. There are a few other things that you need to do to ensure things go your way.
Say nothing to the other party. Admit nothing at the scene or anywhere else. People talk and those things could be used against you in court. Call the police and let them create a report.
Finally, have someone testify that you are the one that was victimized. The other person was wrong. Take pictures and insist on going to the hospital. Alright, maybe you need to do more than one thing, but these things will ensure the case goes in your favor if anything comes up. Otherwise, you could lose your ability to have your medical and vehicle damages paid by the other party.
