In many ways, the M4's engine -- a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder -- is alone worth the price of admission.
Available with your preference of either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch, the M4 churns out a colossal 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard across the range.
Also standard with the M4 is fast and furious acceleration; when had with the manual gearbox, for example, it'll serve up the 0-to-60 mph sprint in a staggering 4.4 seconds.
