The X3 is offered with three trim levels and two powertrains. The base and mid-level trims come with a 248-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine. The high-end powertrain is a hybrid 3.0-liter V6 system that produces 382 horsepower. On the other hand, three powertrains are available for the 2022 BMW X5. The options start with a turbo 3.0-liter, six-cylinder system that gives out 335 horsepower. A 389-combined horsepower hybrid variation of this engine is also available. The most powerful engine is a 4.4-liter turbo V8, 523-horsepower system.

Appearance

The 2022 X3 has energized styling with an upright cabin and a strong angle down the well-defined hood. The sides are contoured and sharply defined, supported by a chrome element that runs between the wheel wells. The headlights are stunning with arrow-like, dual-elemental accents. These are detached from the tall, chrome grille with BMW’s signature, two-part design. The X5 has a more elevated, longer profile with comparable definition through the hoods and sides. Notably, the rear fender is molded beautifully. The grille is almost identical to the X3’s grille. The LED headlight design has a dual-elemental look, but the elements are more rounded.

Features

Depending on the 2022 X3 trim level that you pick out, your crossover may have gear like a head-up display, a surround-view camera, rear side window shades, a Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless charging pad, a navigation system, smart device integration, a 12.3-inch digital instrument screen and more. The X5 includes many of these features, adding massaging front seats, parking assistance, heated front and rear seats, a four-zone climate management system, and a few extra items.
