New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Every new BMW purchased from BMW of Fairfax, or sold through the BMW of North America European Delivery program, includes a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The warranty period begins either on the date of first retail sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier. And from that moment on, that BMW is covered for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, regardless if it's with its first owner or a subsequent owner.

Rust protection for 2006 and newer models.
For 2006 and newer models, we also provide a 12-year limited warranty, without mileage limitation, for defects in materials or workmanship that may result in rust perforation of the vehicle body. This coverage begins on the date of the first retail sale or the date the vehicle is first placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier.

Original owners can also extend their contracts.
If you're the original owner of your BMW, you can extend your service contract for up to 6 years or 100,000 miles for coverage of mechanical breakdowns.

If your BMW requires service that is covered under warranty, simply schedule an appointment with an authorized BMW center where a specially trained, BMW certified technician will make the repairs using original BMW parts. This will guarantee that your vehicle will be repaired to meet our specifications and you can be confident that your BMW will be just as thrilling to drive after a repair, as it was before.
